Expert, reliable TV equipment repairs in Ovens
If you are having problems with your aerial or satellite reception, we can diagnose and resolve the issue with your signal quickly and with the minimum of fuss. We can install signal boosters and 4G / 5G filters to reduce signal interference and align your dish or aerial for the best possible reception.
If you are in an area that has poor Saorview reception please ask our staff for details about installing Saorsat or Freesat channels, for a satellite free-to-air alternative. There are no monthly fees, and you can get the Irish terrestrial channels via satellite!
We can also replace worn or damaged dishes, antennas and receiver boxes, and we serve the greater Cork City area. If you're having problems with your TV viewing drop us a line today, our friendly, expert staff will be happy to help!
Satellite and Aerial signal tuning
Both Free to Air Satellite Systems and Saorview installations require servicing and maintenance from time to time. Free to air channels can change the frequency they are transmitting on periodically, in which case your Free to Air box or TV will need to be re-tuned.
From late 2020 to mid 2021, quite a few Freesat channels changed frequency and usually all that is required is a re-tune of the combo box or the television itself. Saorview frequencies rarely change, however in 2020 a large part of Cork lost RTÉ 1 because of changes in transmission frequencies by RTE NL.

Aerial repairs and maintenance
Just like satellite dishes, TV aerials are exposed to the elements and can become damaged, rusty or misaligned over time and are also more likely to be affected by interference and weak signal than satellite dishes.
You may require a signal booster or 4G / 5G signal filter to get a strong signal to your home, or if you have weather damage to your equipment you might need replacements installed. Whatever work is needed on your Aerial in the Cork area we can help - we're the TV specialists in Ovens!
