Poor Reception Problems? Drop us a line.
If you are having problems with your TV reception in Aherla, be it poor / intermittent reception or no reception at all, we can help. There can be many reasons for poor aerial signal - it could be a poorly aligned aerial, damaged aerial or cabling, or corroded connectors.
We can repair damaged equipment, install signal boosters and amplifiers, and 4G & 5G filters to reduce interference. Whatever is causing your TV signal problems, we will get to the bottom of it, and get things working properly for you.
Aherla is serviced by the Mullaghanish Saorview transmitter, and usually the Saorview antenna needs to be mounted externally. A Saorview antenna fitted on a four foot pole is the best option here. We nearly always fit a Triax filtered aerial here. We have had problems with interference in Aherla in the past and so advise against the use of any Mast Head Amplifiers or boosters as they can also "boost" the unwanted signals.
Is your home externally insulated? No problem!
With the rise in popularity of external insulation to reduce heat loss where cavity wall insulation isn't possible, it has become more difficult to fit aerials to external walls.
If your home or workplace is externally insulated, that's no problem for us. We regularly fit Saorview Aerials to the exterior of externally insulated buildings without issue.

Can I get Saorview?
Saorview is the free Irish digital television service that was launched in 2011. It has gradually replaced the old analogue signal, which was finally retired in 2012.
Most modern TV sets have a built-in digital receiver, and can handle the signal from Saorview Aerials. Older analogue TVs and Projectors can no longer receive a signal without using a digital receiver box.
If you are having issues getting a strong Saorview signal in Aherla we can install Saorview Boosters and Mast Head Amplifiers, and 4G and 5G Filters for much improved aerial reception.
We are experienced, professional Saorview aerial installers, and highly experienced with fixing Saorview reception issues. We can also supply and install digital receiver boxes if required.
