Do you need a new Aerial or Saorview installation in Ballincollig? We can help!
Professional TV equipment installation service in the Cork area
At Ballincollig Satellite Services and Aerial Installations we offer a complete aerial and Saorview installation service. We regularly install new aerials on a variety of building surfaces including back walls, flat roofs, chimneys and even in attic spaces if required.
We also repair damaged aerial equipment, replace broken aerials and cabling, move equipment to new locations and remove old or unwanted aerials from your home or workplace.
We can also set up multi-room Saorview viewing, so you can view digital programming in multiple rooms, and install set-top boxes if required.
The telecommunications mast located on the old ESB site has caused some considerable problems for television viewers in the middle to east section of Ballincollig. The mast came online sometime in 2020 causing some people to loose signal or experience issues with RTE 1. In some cases we were able to install a 4G Filter which eliminated the interference, and in other cases we replaced the attic or chimney mounted antenna.

Is your home externally insulated? No problem!
With the rise in popularity of external insulation to reduce heat loss where cavity wall insulation isn't possible, it has become more difficult to fit aerials to external walls.
If your home or workplace is externally insulated, that's no problem for us. We regularly fit Saorview Aerials to the exterior of externally insulated buildings without issue.
Having reception problems? We can help.
There are many reasons you may be having problems with your TV signal: damaged aerial or cabling, poor aerial alignment or even interference from mobile phone mast signals.
We can install Saorview Boosters, Mast Head Amplifiers and 4G and 5G Filters for uninterrupted aerial reception.
Add digital channels to your TV line-up for FREE
Saorview brings a host of digital and HD channels (as well as digital radio stations) to your viewing line-up. There are no monthly fees, and can be added to any existing TV setup.
Saorview digital programming is a great way to add some additional viewing options to your TV entertainment channels, and you only pay for the initial installation.
Can I get Saorview?
Saorview is the free Irish digital television service that was launched in 2011. It has gradually replaced the old analogue signal, which was finally retired in 2012.
Most modern TV sets have a built-in digital receiver, and can handle the signal from Saorview Aerials. Older analogue TVs and Projectors can no longer receive a signal without using a digital receiver box.
If you are having issues getting a strong Saorview signal in Ballincollig we can install Saorview Boosters and Mast Head Amplifiers, and 4G and 5G Filters for improved aerial reception.
We are experienced, professional Saorview aerial installers, and very experienced with fixing Saorview reception issues. We can also supply and install digital receiver boxes if required.
