If you need a new TV aerial installed at your home or place of buisiness in the Cork area then Ballincollig Satellite Services and Aerial Installations can help you.
We've been providing and servicing aerials in the Farran area since 1998, and we are highly experienced, professional aerial and TV equipment installers. We routinely install aerials for our customers on chimneys, sloped and flat roofs, walls and sometimes even in attics!
We can also install and configure Saorview for you, we can extend the signal through your home or workplace to allow multi-room viewing, and we can provide and install digital set-top boxes and combi-boxes.
Are you having reception issues in Farran?
You could be having issues with your TV reception for many reasons: damage to your aerial equipment due to high winds or stormy weather, your signal may be blocked by neighbouring buildings or the landscape, or you may be experiencing interference from 4G or 5G signals from WiFi / mobile phone signal masts.
Our expert installers can diagnose the problem and repair or replace any damaged equipment you may have, install signal amplifiers and boosters and 4G & 5G filters if necessary.
What are 4G & 5G filters?
4G and 5G filters block the radio frequencies broadcast by mobile phone masts that are used by 4G and 5G devices. These filters can reduce signal interference by up to a factor of 1000, and can significantly improve your reception if you are affected by this type of interference.
A booster for Saorview is required in Farran for reliable Saorview reception because the hills block the Spur Hill transmitter so the only option is the Mullaghanish transmitter. Saorsat will sometimes be used to get RTE channels in this area.
No matter what problem you are having with your TV aerial in Farran, we can help. Give us a call or fill out our contact form today!
Is your home externally insulated? No problem!
With the rise in popularity of external insulation to reduce heat loss where cavity wall insulation isn't possible, it has become more difficult to fit aerials to external walls.
If your home or workplace is externally insulated, that's no problem for us. We regularly fit Saorview Aerials to the exterior of externally insulated buildings without issue.
Having reception problems? We can help.
There are many reasons you may be having problems with your TV signal: damaged aerial or cabling, poor aerial alignment or even interference from mobile phone mast signals.
We can install Saorview Boosters, Mast Head Amplifiers and 4G and 5G Filters for uninterrupted aerial reception.
Add digital channels to your TV line-up for FREE
Saorview brings a host of digital and HD channels (as well as digital radio stations) to your viewing line-up. There are no monthly fees, and can be added to any existing TV setup.
Saorview digital programming is a great way to add some additional viewing options to your TV entertainment channels, and you only pay for the initial installation.
Can I get Saorview?
Saorview is the free Irish digital television service that was launched in 2011. It has gradually replaced the old analogue signal, which was finally retired in 2012.
Most modern TV sets have a built-in digital receiver, and can handle the signal from Saorview Aerials. Older analogue TVs and Projectors can no longer receive a signal without using a digital receiver box.
If you are having issues with your Saorview reception in Farran in Cork, we can install Saorview Boosters and Mast Head Amplifiers, and 4G and 5G Filters for much enhanced aerial reception.
We are highly experienced with the installation of Saorview aerials, fixing Saorview reception issues, and we can supply and install digital receiver boxes throughout Cork if required.
