TV aerial servicing and repairs in Cork
If you are having issues with your TV aerial reception there could be a few different causes: a damaged aerial, corroded connectors or cabling, poor signal strength at your location or even interference from high strength radio signals such as mobile phone masts.
From mid 2020 we have been replacing RTE aerials in Kilumney due to poor signal problems. Changes in Saorview frequencies seem to have contributed to the issue, and many people here were still receiving RTE and TV3 with the old aerials that they had installed for analogue reception before 2012.
We upgraded them to new Saorview approved antennas with built in 4G LTE filters solving the problem. Please call us for any additional information or advice on this awkward problem.
Our expert staff can diagnose the problem, repair or replace existing equipment and install signal boosters and interference filters if required.

Is your home externally insulated? No problem!
With the rise in popularity of external insulation to reduce heat loss where cavity wall insulation isn't possible, it has become more difficult to fit aerials to external walls.
If your home or workplace is externally insulated, that's no problem for us. We regularly fit Saorview Aerials to the exterior of externally insulated buildings without issue.

Can I get Saorview?
Saorview is the free Irish digital television service that was launched in 2011. It has gradually replaced the old analogue signal, which was finally retired in 2012.
Most modern TV sets have a built-in digital receiver, and can handle the signal from Saorview Aerials. Older analogue TVs and Projectors can no longer receive a signal without using a digital receiver box.
If you are having trouble with your Saorview reception in Kilumney in Cork, we can install Saorview Boosters and Mast Head Amplifiers, and 4G and 5G Filters for much improved aerial reception.
We are highly experienced with the installation of Saorview aerials, fixing Saorview reception issues, and we can supply and install digital receiver boxes in Kilumney if required.
