There can be many causes for poor picture or audio quality from your Aerial or Satellite dish. Your dish or aerial can be knocked out of alignment due to windy or stormy weather which can easily lead to complete loss of signal. Your exterior equipment could be corroded or damaged due to exposure to the elements, or you could be in a poor reception area when it comes to aerial signal.
Whatever the reason your signal isn't at good strength, we can help. From repair and replacement of damaged satellite or aerial equipment to signal adjustments and installation of signal boosters and interference filters, we can figure out what the problem is and put in place effective solutions in record time!
Satellite and Aerial signal tuning
Both Free to Air Satellite Systems and Saorview installations require servicing and maintenance from time to time. Free to air channels can change the frequency they are transmitting on periodically, in which case your Free to Air box or TV will need to be re-tuned.
From late 2020 to mid 2021, quite a few Freesat channels changed frequency and usually all that is required is a re-tune of the combo box or the television itself. Saorview frequencies rarely change, however in 2020 a large part of Cork lost RTÉ 1 because of changes in transmission frequencies by RTE NL.

Aerial repairs and maintenance
Just like satellite dishes, TV aerials are exposed to the elements and can become damaged, rusty or misaligned over time and are also more likely to be affected by interference and weak signal than satellite dishes.
You may require a signal booster or 4G / 5G signal filter to get a strong signal to your home, or if you have weather damage to your equipment you might need replacements installed. Whatever work is needed on your Aerial in the Cork area we can help - we're the TV specialists in Glanmire!
