Do you need a new TV Aerial or Saorview installation in Ovens?
Do you have poor TV reception in Ovens, Cork?
Poor TV signal can be caused by several issues: poor weather conditions, corroded cable connectors, water damaged cables, signal interference and surrounding buildings or other natural obstacles.
The west part of Ovens, for example: Grange Manor, can receive a strong signal from the Spur Hill transmitter. Further east of Grange Manor in Ovens probably means using the Mullaghanish transmitter to get a good signal.
We mostly use a chimney mounted antenna in Ovens, but in Grange Manor we can install a Mast Head Antenna booster if the customer prefers the aerial in the attic.
During installation of antennas and cabling we use combiners to avoid drilling unnecessary holes to keep the job as neat as possible.
Don't worry, there are things we can do to improve your TV reception including replacing any corroded or damaged components, installing signal boosters and amplifiers, and installing 4G & 5G filters to reduce signal interference from mobile phone masts.

Can I get Saorview?
Saorview is the free Irish digital television service that was launched in 2011. It has gradually replaced the old analogue signal, which was finally retired in 2012.
Most modern TV sets have a built-in digital receiver, and can handle the signal from Saorview Aerials. Older analogue TVs and Projectors can no longer receive a signal without using a digital receiver box.
